Choosing a Shark Leathers keyring or jet tag

Rubber keyrings and jet tags do two different jobs. A jet tag is a flat moulded marker, around 5mm thick, that slips onto a zip pull, luggage handle or helmet bag so you can identify your kit at a glance. A rubber keyring holds your bike key, padlock key or storage key on a single split ring. Both are moulded from flexible rubber, chosen for resistance to cracking across a working range of roughly -20C to 60C.

Item Material Thickness Split ring Primary use Colours

Maddog Jet Tag Moulded rubber 5mm 25mm Zip and luggage ID Branded design

Emblem Rubber Keyring Moulded rubber 6mm 30mm Key carry on split ring Branded design

Pick a jet tag, around 5mm thick on a 25mm ring, when you want quick visual ID on a zip pull. Pick a rubber keyring on a 30mm ring when you carry 2 to 4 keys together. The 4 colour options on the Corp jet tag let you colour-code keys across multiple bikes, with pink giving high visibility in a crowded bag. All items use a standard split ring so they fit a jacket zip, helmet bag toggle or a key board hook without modification.

These are branded accessories, not protective equipment. No EN 17092 abrasion rating (AAA, AA or A) and no CE Level 1 or Level 2 armour standard applies, since those cover impact and abrasion gear. For rated kit, see the road jackets and road gloves ranges, which carry the relevant EN 17092 and CE certifications.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a jet tag and a rubber keyring?

A jet tag is a flat moulded rubber marker, around 5mm thick, that clips to a zip pull or luggage handle for quick ID. A rubber keyring holds your keys on a 30mm split ring. The Corp range offers both.

What colours do the Corp jet tags come in?

The Corp jet tag comes in red, black, white and pink. Colour-coding lets you tell keys or bags apart across multiple bikes, and pink stands out in a crowded gear bag.

Are these keyrings and jet tags protective gear?

No. All Corp and Maddog keyrings and jet tags are branded accessories made from moulded flexible rubber. They carry no EN 17092 or CE rating. For rated protection see the road jackets and road gloves ranges.
