Textile is the most versatile material for womens road pants. Every pair here uses a textile shell, with waterproof, summer and 4-season builds across DIFI, Oxford, Macna, MotoDry and Shark Leathers.

Match the build to your riding

Pick your pants by season and weather first. Summer-weighted textiles flow more air for hot days, waterproof builds like the Oxford Dakota 2.0 keep rain out, and 4-season designs balance both for year-round commuting.

Understand the safety ratings

EN 17092 grades abrasion resistance in 3 tiers. AAA is the highest rating for high-speed road and touring, AA suits most everyday road riding, and A is the entry level for lower-speed urban use. Check the garment label for its rating before you buy.

Armour matters as much as the shell. CE Level 1 protectors transmit up to 18 kN of force in testing, while CE Level 2 transmit under 9 kN, so Level 2 absorbs roughly twice the impact energy. Most textile road pants include hip and knee armour pockets, with many shipping Level 1 armour as standard and accepting a Level 2 upgrade. Confirm both pieces are fitted before your first ride.
