Brisbane summers are punishing. 40C in January, sticky air sitting over the city, then a wall of storm cloud rolling in off the D'Aguilar Range by 4pm. A leather jacket on the Pacific Motorway commute will cook you. That's when riders want a proper full-face helmet with strong ventilation (AGV, LS2, Bell, Airoh), touring boots from TCX or Falco that won't soak through if a Glorious storm catches them, and summer gloves from Five or Oxford with knuckle armour.
