The Sunshine Coast gives a rider three different jobs in one weekend. Beach commute on the Sunshine Motorway, hinterland twisties through Maleny and Montville, then a Sunday loop up to Noosa or out around the Glass House Mountains. Sub-tropical weather throws hot humid days, mild winters, and short violent summer storms into the mix, and the gear has to keep up.

Mesh wins most of the calendar. A vented textile jacket from DriRider, Macna or Rjays will keep you sane on a 32C run up the M1, and the smart ones come with a removable waterproof liner so the same shell handles a thunderstorm rolling off Mary Cairncross. For winter mornings on the Maleny range, layer a thermal under a Merlin or Richa textile and you're sorted.

Hinterland twisties chew tyres and ankles. CE Level 2 boots from TCX, Falco or Leatt handle the Montville switchbacks better than a sneaker pretending to be a riding shoe. Pair them with armoured Kevlar pants and CE Level 2 hip and knee armour that drops impact force under 9kN, and a Five or Oxford summer glove with a knuckle slider.

For the lid, AGV, LS2, Bell, Simpson, Kabuto, Airoh, RXT and Nitro all sit on our helmet wall. Group ride from Caloundra to Maleny with mates? A Cardo or SCS intercom means you're not yelling through visors at every roundabout.

You're 150km north of our shop, which is the easiest interstate run we do. Order before 2pm AEST and your gear is packed, scanned and on a truck the same day. Most Sunshine Coast metro postcodes (Caloundra, Maroochydore, Noosa, Buderim, Mooloolaba, Nambour) see delivery the next business day. Hinterland addresses around Maleny, Montville and Eumundi sometimes need an extra day depending on courier rotation. Free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $200, flat rate under that. If the fit is off when it lands, return it inside 30 days and we'll swap or refund. Helmets ship double-boxed because freight handlers do not treat them gently.

What jacket suits Sunshine Coast weather?

Pure mesh works December through March if your commute is short.

Can I return gear if the sizing is off?

Yes. Thirty days, unworn with tags on. We refund or swap, and we'll cover return freight if the issue is on us. Helmet returns need to be unscuffed inside.

Do you stock Cardo intercoms?

Is there a Sunshine Coast showroom?

No. The shop is at 6/142 Siganto Drive, Helensvale, an hour and forty south on the M1. A lot of Sunny Coast riders make the trip for a custom race suit fitting or a helmet sizing session, but the rest of the range ships fast enough that most never need to.
