The Brembo GP4-RX radial caliper kit (220B01010) is a top-tier solution from Brembo's High Performance range, designed for sporty road riding and track use. Developed with technology derived from MotoGP, it combines lightweight construction, high rigidity and precise hydraulic performance.

Construction
The caliper body is entirely CNC-machined from solid aluminium alloy. It is manufactured in two mechanically connected sections and optimised using advanced calculation software to remove excess material while maximising the mass-to-stiffness ratio.

Finish
A distinctive nickel-plated surface treatment, derived directly from MotoGP technology, provides a premium finish while allowing extremely precise machining tolerances. This contributes to improved dimensional accuracy and consistent braking performance.

Hydraulic System
The GP4-RX features four aluminium pistons, each measuring 32mm in diameter. Instead of conventional pad retaining pins, the brake pads slide along guides machined directly into the caliper body. This reduces friction and contributes to improved brake feel and modulation.

Disc Compatibility
The calipers can be used with standard OEM discs and are also compatible with high-performance racing discs, including Brembo SuperSport and T-Drive discs. For applications using the original 310mm discs, such as certain Honda CBR600RR, CBR1000RR and CB1000R models, conversion to 320mm discs with the appropriate mounting adapters may be required.

Recommended Master Cylinder
For optimal performance and to maintain a firm, responsive lever feel, Brembo recommends pairing the GP4-RX with a radial master cylinder featuring a 19mm piston, such as the Brembo 19RCS or 19RCS Corsa Corta.

Important Compatibility Notes

• ABS: Brembo advises against using these calipers with ABS systems in most applications. The different internal hydraulic volume may affect the interaction between the caliper and ABS control unit. Where permitted, the ABS system may need to be deactivated.

• Disc size: Check the original disc diameter, braking surface height and caliper offset before installation.

• 320mm conversion: Some motorcycles fitted with 310mm OEM discs require 320mm discs and specific adapters.

• Master cylinder: A suitable 19mm radial master cylinder is strongly recommended to prevent excessive lever travel and fully utilise the caliper's braking performance.
