Shark Venture Pro Jacket
By: on 30 October 2024
I bought this jacket to allow some airflow during warmer weather, and in some respects, it has done that quite well. Let me start with the website. You cannot seem to navigate for love nor money to the Venture Pro jacket through any of their menus. I tried Textile Jackets and Summer Jackets and could only find the older Venture jacket. I had to use the search function to find it. One feature of the jacket advertised, which I am a little miffed about is the inner jacket. It says "Zip-out quilted liner with backing made in the latest Shuang Breathable waterproof liner passing 5000mm H2o uptest ensuring you stay dry". This is a QLD company and I live in the ACT and I know I would not like to wear a quilted raincoat in the rain for about half a year. I could only imagine how horrible it would be in QLD. Maybe suggest your outer rain jacket may be better suited for warm days. The bonus is, that you may sell more products. Another thing I could not understand is the velcro at the bottom of the rear air panel. Can someone explain its purpose? Besides those interesting elements, the jacket is quite comfortable with lots of adjustment points. The air vents are reasonably large for a jacket which does not require an inner jacket to stop the flow of air like the REV'IT! Cayenne 2 Jacket. Bonus points for being an Australian company, although there are no labels to inform us of where the jacket has been made.

Rain or Shine: The Shark Venture Pro Gear That Del
By: on 9 October 2024
Review of Shark Venture Pro Jacket and Pants Introduction My Shark Venture Pro Jacket and Pants were barely 24 hours old, and I was on my knees in the rain-soaked Watagans changing a tyre. It rained the whole weekend trip, but I was impressed with how the gear held up perfectly and kept me warm and dry the whole time. Comfort and Fit The Large size is a perfect fit for me, allowing for comfortable movement while riding. Even during long stretches, the jacket and pants felt well-fitted without being restrictive. The ventilation options kept me cool during breaks, and the adjustable features ensured a snug fit. Protection and Durability I felt well-protected, as the gear was equipped with armour in critical areas, including good back armour that, despite its sturdiness, I hardly noticed while wearing it, which is a testament to the thoughtful design. The materials used in the jacket and pants seem robust, and I have confidence in their ability to withstand my adventure riding style. Weather Resistance The rain pelted down on my first ride with the Shark gear, which persisted throughout the weekend. I was pleased by the jacket and pants' ability to keep me completely dry, even during extended highway stints. The waterproofing held up beautifully. Functionality and Storage The gear has ample storage options, allowing me to carry essentials without feeling cluttered. The zippers were sturdy but smooth, and I appreciated the thoughtful design of pockets that were easily accessible while riding. Style and Design I was really happy with the style and look of the Shark Venture Pro gear. The colours are nice and add a touch of flair while still maintaining a professional appearance. Conclusion My experience with the Shark Venture Pro Jacket and Pants has been overwhelmingly positive. They provided comfort, protection, and excellent weather resistance, especially in the heavy rain conditions I encountered. I recommend this gear to adventure riders looking for reliable performance in various weather situations.
