Meet Archie "Maddog" McDonald
Hailing from Albury, NSW, Archie’s journey into motorcycle racing started when he was just three years old, tearing up his family’s one-acre backyard. After years of honing his craft on flat tracks, he transitioned to road racing in 2019, and the rest is history.
Now, at just 20 years old, Archie competes at the highest levels, racing in both the ASBK SSP600 and the FIM European STK600 Championship with Stop & Seal Racing and PS Racing, respectively.
Archie has already achieved remarkable success, with his most memorable moment being his birthday weekend victory in his first international race at Portimão a track he loves for its fast corners and technical flow. His biggest racing achievement so far? Winning on an international level an accomplishment many riders dream of but few accomplish.
For the 2025 season, Archie has set his sights high: he aims to dominate the ASBK SSP600 and European STK600 Championships, striving for nothing less than an undefeated season. And with his drive to “be someone” in the world of motorsport, we have no doubt he’ll leave a lasting mark on the sport.

A fun fact for fans: Archie spent a decade racing flat track before transitioning to road racing, a foundation that’s clearly helped shape his exceptional skills. As for pre-race rituals? Archie sticks to a routine of stretching and gearing up in a specific way—not out of superstition, but to ensure he’s mentally and physically prepared for every race.
