What's in an EBH cartridge

The EBH uses Bitubo's patented FPS hydraulic control and coaxial compensation chamber, a 27 mm Ergal piston and a 10 mm pumping rod with anti-friction coating. All adjusters sit on the top cap, and EBH kits include two extra springs of different stiffness so you can tune the front for your weight.

Matching spring rates

Cartridges ship with Bitubo's standard spring for your model. Replacement EBH, ECH and JBH springs in other rates are in our Bitubo fork springs range, and the cartridge service kits are under service parts.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need new fork tubes for a Bitubo cartridge?

No. Bitubo cartridges fit inside your existing fork legs. The tubes, sliders and triple clamps stay; the internal damping and springs are replaced.

What oil goes in a Bitubo cartridge?

Use the oil grade and level given in Bitubo's fitting instructions for your cartridge. Bitubo fork oils are in our service parts range, with more options in our fork oil collection.

Should a workshop fit my cartridge?

We recommend it. Fitting a cartridge means stripping the forks, setting oil levels precisely and bleeding the system. A suspension workshop will also set the sag and clickers to suit you.
